Half Hour Pudding
1 cup all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup raisons
1/2 cup milk
1 egg

Stir dry ingredients together and add raisons. Set aside. Whisk the milk and egg together and add to flour mixture. Combine well and place fairly evenly in an 8x8 or 9x9 ungreased pyrex dish. Set aside.

Mix together the following topping and whilst still hot, pour over the above cake mixture

1 cup lightly packed brown sugar
1 3/4 cup boiling water
1/4 teaspoon each of cinnamon and nutmeg
1 Tablespoon butter

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 mins. Best served hot and is nice plain or drizzled with cream. Enjoy!
